Kawa of Care

Mrs Gardiner is in charge of computers at our school and she came to class to talk about the Kawa of care rules we have to follow when working on our Chromebooks. We had to make something to prove we have read the rules and understand and agree to them. Here is my work:

Respect

this what respect means.

Respect means to respect the property of others and to respect everyone else. Treat people how you want to be treated. Hopefully you will be treated back. Don’t litter that's not respecting the earth.

Writing Wk 3 Term 1 2021 recount

 Kia ora.

We are learning that Basic Punctuation means that you have a capital letter at the start of a sentence, and a full stop, question mark or exclamation mark at the end of every sentence when you do a piece of writing.

Here is my recount about monarch butterflies.

Butterflies

Last week at school Team Moana went around the back to check on the swan plants and see the monarch life cycle .

We went to get our shoes on then we lined up. We started to walk to the swan plants. Some people were grabbing mint to eat.

As soon as we got to the swan plants people started spotting eggs and black, white and yellow striped caterpillars.

Eventually people started seeing monarch butterflies and a chrysalis. A lot of the chrysalides have had a butterfly pop out of it.

I enjoyed going to find out more about monarch butterflies.

Waitangi Day

 12.2.2021

Kia ora

We have been learning about the Treaty of Waitangi. Something new I learned was that James Busby and William Hobson wrote the treaty. We also made a booklet about Waitangi. It was fun to make.
