first the days in the year 365 how much water per day 3ml 365 x 3ml ---------------- 15 180 900 --------------- 1095ml my birthday cactus needed 1095ml of water per year. Cactus are some of my favourite plants - they absorb and hold water!
Well done on completing another SLJ activity, you have done a great job at calculating how much water is needed for a cactus. It's awesome to hear that cacti are one of your favourite plants. If you imagine a 1L bottle of milk, a cactus only needs a tiny bit more than that over the space of an entire year! That seems crazy.

I thought that you would have liked this activity. You explained it well. I don't like cactus because when I was very young( that was a very long long time ago) I fell into my Nana's cactus garden and I was very sore afterwards. Keep up the blogging.
